WBSSC Teacher Exam Pattern 2022
The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) Assistant Teacher recruitment will consist of three stages in the selection process. The Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET)/ Preliminary Test (PT), Mains examination (comprise of Written Examination and weightage), and Interview.
WBSSC TET/Preliminary Test Exam Pattern
- The Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) examination is of 150 marks for Upper Primary Teachers.
- The PT if of 150 marks for Class (IX – X), Class (XI-XII), Work Education, Physical Education.
- Both TET and PT are MCQ-based tests.

WBSSC Teacher Mains Exam Pattern
The candidates who score the minimum cut-off in the Prelims examination meet the criteria to attend the Mains Round. The applicants are tested according to their familiarity in a particular topic with Indian History, Economics, Culture, Polity, International Affairs, etc. in the Mains test.
- The mains test has two parts.
- Language test and Knowledge of Subject.
